CÀSÀ Hosts Cultural Collaboration with TISA Students

“Expressing Cultures Through Taste” – 25 February 2026

On 25 February 2026 at 7:00 PM, the Culinary Arts Center of Azerbaijan (CÀSÀ) proudly hosted a special collaborative event with students from The International School of Azerbaijan (TISA) at CÀSÀ Restaurant.

Titled “Expressing Cultures Through Taste,” the project celebrated world cultures and diversity through the universal language of food.

A Celebration of Culture Through Cuisine

The initiative brought together four TISA students — Chloe, Zara, Maria, and Vilté — representing Zimbabwe, Russia, and Lithuania. Working in collaboration with CÀSÀ’s culinary team, the students developed a concept-driven event that explored how cuisine reflects cultural identity, heritage, and tradition.

This partnership highlights CÀSÀ’s commitment to supporting educational initiatives that foster creativity, intercultural dialogue, and experiential learning.

The project concept was built on several key principles:

  • Food connects people. Across continents and cultures, meals create shared experiences and foster human connection.
  • Exploring culture through taste. Each dish served during the evening offered guests an opportunity to experience a different cultural perspective.
  • Celebrating identity and traditions. The students highlighted the importance of preserving culinary heritage as a reflection of personal and national identity.
  • Building understanding among communities. By sharing food and stories, the event encouraged dialogue, respect, and cultural appreciation.

An Engaging and Meaningful Evening

Approximately 30 guests attended the event, creating an intimate and interactive atmosphere. Guests experienced a curated menu representing diverse cultural backgrounds, accompanied by student presentations explaining the significance behind each selection.

The collaboration allowed the students to apply creativity, research, and communication skills while gaining hands-on exposure to professional culinary operations within CÀSÀ’s restaurant environment. For CÀSÀ, the event reflected its ongoing commitment to educational partnerships and the promotion of cultural exchange through gastronomy.

Strengthening Cultural Dialogue Through Culinary Arts

At CÀSÀ, we believe gastronomy is more than technique — it is a powerful platform for dialogue, connection, and global understanding. The “Expressing Cultures Through Taste” event reflects our ongoing mission to support young talent and promote cultural appreciation through the culinary arts.

We extend our appreciation to the students of TISA for their creativity and dedication, and we look forward to future collaborations that celebrate diversity through food.
