The Culinary Arts Center of Azerbaijan (CÀSÀ) continues to make waves in the culinary world as its students recently achieved outstanding success at the prestigious 4th Golden Shah National Culinary Championship, held within the International Food Industry Exhibition—InterFood Azerbaijan. This significant event brought together over 170 local and 25 foreign chefs, both individually and in teams, making it one of the most competitive culinary showcases in the region.

Senior Team Triumphs with Gold Trophy

Leading the way, the Senior Team, comprised of Kanan Balashov, Emil Zaynalzade, and Kamal Aghayev, captured the overall championship title, proudly bringing home the prestigious Gold Shah Trophy. Their exceptional teamwork and culinary mastery were evident in every dish they presented, earning them the top honor in this highly competitive event, judged by internationally certified experts from over 22 countries.

Junior Team Earns Gold as 1st Runner-Up

The Junior Team, consisting of Betul Huseynli, Bilal Neymatli, and Ziver Ibrahimova, also made a remarkable impact by securing the 1st Runner-Up position. Their outstanding performance was recognized with a Gold medal, demonstrating their potential and promise as future culinary stars.

  • Amil Zeynalzade showcased his expertise in seafood preparation, winning the Gold Medal in the Fish Category, a testament to his exceptional skill.

  • Ulkar Aghaliyeva and Khadija Yusifova both earned Silver Medals in the Meat Category, highlighting their precision and creativity in working with meat.
