From July 2 to July 4, 2024, the Azerbaijan Chef Specialist Association (ACSA) participated in the prestigious 3rd Global Culinary Challenge Malaysia, held at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC). The event was organized by Global Culinary Challenge Malaysia (GCCM) and co-organized by COMEXPOSIUM Asia Pacific. The Azerbaijani team was coached by Mr. Kelvin Chong, the esteemed Director of the Culinary Arts Centre of Azerbaijan (CÀSÀ).

The competition brought together some of the finest culinary talents from around the world, providing a platform for chefs to showcase their skills, creativity, and innovation. The ACSA team stood out with their exceptional performance, winning several accolades across various categories.

  • One Gold medal and two silver medals in Practical Hot Cooking Individual (Live) Main Course: Chicken Category

  • One Gold medal, two silver medals, and two Additional Silver medals in Practical Hot Cooking Individual (Live) Main Course: Lamb / Beef Category

  • One Gold medal and one Silver medal in Practical Hot Cooking Individual (Live) Main Course: Seafood Category

  • 1st Runner Up Award in Piao Kee Live & Frozen Seafoods Youth Cup Apprentice Duo (<21 years old) Category
