On June 12, 2024, The "AHA Hotel Chef Skills Showdown", a premier culinary competition, was organized by Azerbaijan Hotel Association (AHA) in partnership with CÀSÀ and event sponsor PASHA Travel LLC . This event showcased the exceptional skill, creativity, and dedication of chefs from 12 esteemed member hotels. It stood as a vibrant celebration of Baku's culinary landscape and underscored the exceptional standards of excellence within the hospitality industry. 

The 2-hour competition featured chefs presenting their signature dishes to a distinguished jury. The expert panel, which included members from CÀSÀ, evaluated each presentation to determine the final results.

The first place was awarded to Kamil Bafadarov from Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, Baku. Akram Karimli from Fairmont Baku, Flame Towers secured the second place, while the third place went to Farac Abasquluzada from JW Marriott Absheron Baku.
